“We’re getting married on a cruise and we’d love for you guys to be there!”. Sitting in St. Thomas Roasters, Jason and I look at each other in sheer, excited shock as our bride, Randi, regales us of the plans for her and Mike to exchange vows aboard a Carnival Cruise for their May 19, 2013 wedding. Randi and Mike were married in the gorgeous art deco styled Butterfly Lounge and nothing could compare to the way Mike looked at Randi, his eyes filled with love, as she tearfully walked down the aisle to a soft “Somewhere over the Rainbow” rendition. After a gorgeous ceremony, and the official nautical knot tying, the couple and about 40 of their closest friends and family made way to the Piano Bar for a classy cocktail hour reception, including cake cutting, blue margarita’s, and emotion filled toasts.
Later in the week, the second port of call, Half Moon Cay was to be the ideal backdrop for white sands, crystal clear water beach posed images, however due to rough seas the port was cancelled and the couple made the best of the not so ideal situation and rocked out some beautiful ship posed images. Overall an amazing experience, one we are so grateful for being a part of and we’ll definitely have stories about our experiences for many years to come!
