Boudoir sessions are quickly becoming one of my favorite sessions to photograph. I love how my ladies finish their session feeling empowered, confident and strong!
It’s amazing how many misconceptions are out there regarding boudoir sessions. No, they’re not trashy images. No, my ladies are not fully nude or exposing anything they are uncomfortable with. No, my ladies are not all size 2 and in their spare time, model bikinis. No, these images are not always intended as a gift for a spouse.
I capture boudoir sessions for women of all shapes and sizes. For those who love every part of their body to those who hate certain areas. Boudoir sessions make my clients feel beautiful, both inside and out and the images are proof that my client is a stunning, strong woman.
This spring, between our mini marathon and other sessions booked, I met so many amazing women! Some who were getting ready to walk the aisle, some who wanted to capture success, and some who just wanted some beautiful images. I don’t post many boudoir images publicly to be conscientious of personal preference but with permission, here are highlights from some of the spring sessions!
I saw a post during my social media scroll this weekend that said “Keep calm, spring is coming”. It could come a little faster in my opinion:) Not only for the amazing weather, but spring gets me darn excited for our marathon mini sessions!
March 12th from 9am to 2pm, I’m offering six boudoir mini sessions at our Linglestown studio. Makeup application is available (and highly recommended) from the simply amazing Makeup by Chelsea, Chelsea Nolan. All sessions receive a one year password locked gallery and download of high resolution images. These sessions always book fast, be sure to contact us for additional information on setting up your mini session!
We still have a few spots remaining for the boudoir mini session on November 7th from 9am – 2pm. Each session is 40 minutes with images edited and delivered via download.
Surprise boudoir sessions always make for a great gift for the soon to be spouse, however organizationally can be a challenge! Just ask D! We set up with D at her house for her classy session- unexpectedly the Mister arrived home a bit sooner than expected. Thankfully we were just about wrapped up and us photographers never came face to face to ruin the surprise but whew.. that was close!
Jason, Scott and I have been tossing ideas around on how to give back to our military couples for the past few months. Regardless of branch, military couples make multiple sacrifices- time, distance, and sometimes missing moments of each others lives that just a memory or an image can get him/her through the day. To those who have their finance or husband in the military, MMP and Scott Bostjancic Photography are teaming up to offer those ladies a free Boudoir session.
Military ladies need not book any other sessions, have held their wedding with MMP, or feel obliged to purchase disks or prints from their sessions. Boudoir sessions include a one to two hour photo shoot and a one year online password protected gallery through Scott Bostjancic Photography. Logical verification (i.e. a picture of your military man/ military ID/ etc) and signed photographic contract required.
What does a Boudoir session look like, you may ask? MMP/SBP believes in classy, fashion inspired photography sessions. It doesn’t matter what is worn, but the mystery of how its shown in your images. The key to great boudoir imagery is being comfortable and relaxed in your own skin and remembering these are going to make your man melt!
This year we’ve assisted our fabulous partner in crime and photography, Scott Bostjancic, with three boudoir sessions for Hannah, Devanna, and Jessica and in each session these ladies embellished classiness and vibrancy! At SBP, Scott focuses on fashion and glamor to create stunning work that their husbands are sure to drool over! Complete with a 4×6 or 5×7 gift book, this has been what our ladies call the perfect gift for the morning of or the evening after their wedding!
