Spring Engagements 2015

WOW!  We had an amazing Spring engagement season this year!  Lots of creative couples and fantastic weather is the perfect background for gorgeous imagery!

Camille & Rob chose downtown Harrisburg for their setting which we took full advantage of the remaining snow for a few fun creatives!

Kaitlyn & Brian also had some snow on the ground for their Founders Hall Garden session.  I love that they included their gorgeous pup, Koosh:)

Kate & Douglas rocked engagement style with their State Street engagement session.  Seriously one of the best groom engagement looks in our opinion!

Samantha & Michael.. OMG.  Just hands down one of my favorite fashion focused engagement sessions.  We had a perfect session at Hershey Hotel.

Courtnay & Nick chose to Troegs Brewery for their location which was fantastic both inside and out. The barren train tracks next door were a unique touch!

Taryn & Nick picked a perfect day and a perfect location to showcase their high school sweetheart love.  The Masonic Gardens in Elizabethtown is one of our favorite location recommendations!

Alexis and Jared Engagement

Alexis was one of our lucky bridal show giveaway winners from the Weddings In Style show held last year.  When she had contacted us about her ideas for their engagement session we had no doubt we were going to create some fantastic images off of her plans and inspiration!  Alexis and Jared chose to not only celebrate their engagement but their upcoming birthday celebration for their gorgeous Australian Shepherd, Oakley.  Even though we didn’t know much about these two at the beginning of their session, by the end we felt like we had known them for months!  Congratulations again on your engagement and we wish you the very best on your June 2015 wedding!

The Taylor Fam

In viewing our portfolio, our major focus is weddings and engagements.  Occasionally we pick up a family session or two but normally we partner with a sister company for all of our family, senior, and boudoir sessions: Scott Bostjancic Photography.  The Taylor family was one of our special families in that Miss Mackenzie was turning 2 and wow what a little bundle of energy!  We met up with Kim, John, and Miss Mackenzie at the Milton Hershey Gardens for a fun and candid family session!  Talk about a picture perfect fam!  Check these guys out!

Classic American Wedding

With wedding trends striving to push bigger and better than the last season, it’s refreshing to take part in a classic American wedding. Lauryn and Teddy’s wedding felt as if we were on the set of a Hollywood wedding scene- Gorgeous Bride in a stellar Oleg Cassini dress, handsome Groom in a classic black tux, both surrounded by beautiful bridesmaids and groomsmen in timeless black, white, and red details- this was a photographer’s dream!

Lauryn and Teddy’s ceremony was held in the breathtaking Founders Hall rotunda at Milton Hershey School with their reception festivities at Purcell Hall.  Along with elegance, there were quite a few quirky moments with unnamed groomsmen sporting Chippendale fashions on the dance floor and some donut scarfing while lacing a wedding gown!  Looking back I should’ve pushed Jason out on the dance floor to see if he could pick up some of those moves from the groomsmen!

WOW! Jas and I can completely understand how photographers fall in love with shooting weddings. As photographers I believe we appreciate and capture all of the great details and time consuming plans that couples share for the big day. Weddings are definitely an adrenaline rush and a great way to let your creativity shine while documenting one of the best days of a couples life. MMP was thankful to share part of Tina and Ben’s wedding day held at Founders Hall in Hershey. Both were wonderful to work with and had a little fun during the shoot. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Mowrey!
