A Winery Wedding- Kim & Ethan

levyforsyth_0015j_mmp         It was a boys day out as Scott and Jason made way to Fiore Winery in Maryland for Kim and Ethan’s beautiful winery wedding!  Kim and Ethan met in college while sharing a class together.  Ethan was the perfect gentleman and was often seen escorting Kim to lunch and back to class afterward.  The couple celebrated their engagement at the location of their first date and walk around college campus.  Kim and Ethan had a bit of a unique day, blending Chinese heritage to Jewish traditions.  Overall the day was amazing and the couple looked amazing with lots of laughs and smiles!  levyforsyth_017sb_mmp

Leah & Nick October 4, 2013

When planning your wedding day, incorporating elements of your personalities is key.  We love seeing unique items that make guests say.. “Oh that is totally______” or “Wow you can see ______’s personal touch”.  Leah and Nick were especially on point with blending pieces of their passions and cultures for their wedding day. Leah carried a paper origami bouquet (so light and gorgeous ladies.. check them out on Etsy) which complimented her beautiful Renaissance inspired gown.  This DIY gal also made thousands of origami cranes in all colors for reception decor and tiny origami shapes for the flower girl’s toss.

The bride, also a creative after our own hearts, had her ladies carry beautiful lanterns and adorn vibrant Tiffany blue velvet capes over their white gowns.  Leah and Nick’s ceremony included a “caping” and cultural nods to Leah’s Korean ancestry with pieces of the Pae Bak ceremony.  One of our favorite features of their gorgeous venue, Cloisters Castle, was the stunning staircase which we took to our full advantage for pictures.  Overall an amazing day spent with fantastic people.  Congratulations Nick and Leah!

Sarah & Jeff 05/18/2013

I personally LOVE couples who have amazing and unique personalities!  Meeting Jeff and Sarah I knew we were going to be in for a great wedding!  J & S were married at Camp Puh’ Tok in Maryland, which is a huge summer camp they had rented for the weekend as not only a one day celebration, but a weekend filled with fun activities for their friends and family (I hear capture the flag was on the menu)!  The details, down to the classy table settings, were immaculate and despite a little spritzing of rain during the ceremony, the day was near perfect!  One of my favorite moments was capturing the cocktail hour swing dance lessons and watching the fabulous first dance share by these two amazing dancers!  Congratulations to you both, keep on dancing, smiling, and loving!

Kathleen & Bryan 05/04/2013

If you’re a fan of any wedding vendor pages on Facebook, you may hear the term “wedding season” being thrown around left and right these days.  Wedding season ranges differently for everyone, usually April/May through the beginning of November in our area.  Kathleen and Bryan’s celebrations marks off the beginning of our crazy busy wedding season this year and what a way to kick it off!

This gorgeous couple shared vows in Kathleen’s family church in Hagerstown, MD.  The personal touches these two added to their wedding was the icing on the cake, matching Tom’s for the bridal party and herbs and beautiful spring time floral arrangements.  Bryan is one of the awesome entertainers with Klock Entertainment so it was only natural to have Klock DJ’s Sean, Joe, and Matt mixing jams that kept the dance floor packed all night!  Overall a great wedding of two lovely people to kick off the 2013 wedding season!

Aubree & Nicole 04/13/2013

Say what you will, but there is nothing better than two people in love.  Cheese aside, it’s true.  Love birds inspire both each other and those around them to flourish in their own romantic areas (PG kids.. PG).  Aubree and Nicole are no exception in my opinion and not just because they’re two of my very favorite friends but because through thick and thin they’ve been through some of the hardest times anyone could imagine and came out on top, in love, and now very happily married!

Jason and I had the pleasure of being guests at Aubree and Nicole’s big day so our fabulous Lead Photographers, Whitney Hart and Scott Bostjancic, along with one of our awesome new apprentices, Nicole, rocked out the photography for these lovely ladies!  Aubree and Nicole.. or Coleslaw for short.. had the most gorgeous day for their outdoor ceremony and reception at Rockfield Manor (http://www.rockfieldmanor.com/) in Bel Air, MD and hired one of the best entertainment companies in this area, Klock Entertainment (www.klockentertainment.com) with DJ’s Sean and Bryan to lay down the fantastic tunes.  And there was Pie so Mr. McClain was eccstatic!  Overall a truly gorgeous and heartfelt wedding and a kick ass (oh yeah I went there) party to celebrate the day!

>Courtney and Tom

What a day! Beautiful skies..fantastic location..90+ degrees.. and 3 photographers dressed all in black! Thankfully we had a fantastic couple who was extremely easy to work with, shade, and a nice breeze! Courtney and Tom were married just outside of the PA border at a gorgeous pond that looked more like pool water than the normal cloudy, algea filled, mosquito pits we have in the area. Surrounded by their wonderful families they exchanged their vows to each other and then surprised everyone by taking a dip of the pier! A photographers dream! Ladies.. I’m happy to shoot any dress trashing desired:) Congrats to the fantastic couple!
