All photographers have that list- you know.. the one where we say ‘OMG, I really want to shoot here sometime’.  You could say it’s our venue bucket list.  Hershey Country Club was definitely on our venue bucket list and it couldn’t have been a more perfect experience with the hands down amazing team they have there (shout out to coordinator, Amanda C) or a more perfect couple, Amanda & Sean.

We met Amanda and Sean a bit ago for their engagement session at Memorial Lake where they got engaged.  Although a bit warm back then, we had no idea September was going to be the new August this year.  Thankfully, the humidity broke a bit and evening pictures at Hershey Trust and on the course were a breeze.  My favorite moment from the day, and really it is hard choosing just one, was the non-first look, first look- which is when a couple is photographed together but not seeing each other directly.  Sean looked so incredibly nervous and just so excited for the moment when he could actually take in the moment together with Amanda.  Those emotions- Fave!

Francesca & Matt Engagement

Scott and I met up with Francesca and Matt for their engagement session at Memorial Lake in Lebanon.    Enjoying the outdoors, this gorgeous couple chose this location and gave us some great ideas of special spots to photograph at.  Their favorite was a big old tree in one of the clearings near the lake.  I always love to capture special places or moments for couples!  It gives meaning to that photo more than if it is just a random snap shot.

As the session went on we discussed a little bit about their wedding plans and let me just say it’s going to be amazing!  I can’t wait to be part of their day!

Missy & Shane September 20, 2013

Sweet simplicity.  Your wedding day doesn’t need to be complicated to be beautiful and Missy and Shane are the poster couple for a simplistic yet gorgeous wedding day.  Their mid morning wedding was held on the coast of Memorial Lake where they exchanged vows in front of about 30 close friends and family.  The couple’s two youngest daughters watched until the special moment where they were able to “push” both parents together for the kiss.  Although their wedding day was shorter on the coverage scale than most, we spent a lot of time capturing gorgeous images of these two during their first moments of being husband and wife.  Such a blessing to know both Missy and Shane and we wish them both the very best on their marriage:)
